Safegram Italy Challenge — Ireland-built, privacy-first, and built around trust

Safegram, a new Ireland-built privacy-first social marketplace, is inviting people across Ireland to join early and take part in its Italy City Break Challenge, giving eligible entrants the chance to win a city break for two worth up to €1,500.

Note: this graphic itself displays “€1,000 Italy city break for 2” in its design — the article text below correctly says €1,500 to match the live safegram.com/italy page, but the image cannot be text-edited here. Please update this graphic (or confirm €1,000 is correct) before publishing.

The challenge is designed to introduce Irish users to Safegram in a simple, positive and community-led way: download Safegram, post a selfie with your bestie, tag them in your Safegram post, and enter the draw.

But for Safegram, the campaign is about more than a giveaway.

It is about starting a bigger conversation in Ireland around online trust, safer communities, real people, verified sellers, encrypted chat and a more respectful way to connect online.

Built in Ireland, for real people

Safegram is being built as a privacy-first platform where people, creators, families, sellers and businesses can connect with more trust.

The app combines social networking with marketplace features, giving users a place to message, discover, trade, connect and build community without the feeling that their data is being used against them.

Safegram’s core message: Real people. Safer communities. Privacy-first.

    Why Safegram matters now

Many people are tired of fake profiles, scammy messages, unsafe online deals, noisy feeds and platforms that feel more focused on attention than people. Safegram wants to offer a different path.

    The platform is focused on:

    • Verified sellers and businesses
    • Encrypted chat
    • Safer local deals
    • Family and community safety features
    • Creator and business opportunities
    • No data used against users
    • A cleaner, more trustworthy social experience

Safegram is currently in early access, which means users may notice small bugs or rough edges while the platform improves. The company is encouraging early users to join, test the app, give feedback and help shape what Safegram becomes.

How the Italy City Break Challenge works

Note: this graphic also displays “€1,000 Italy city break for 2” in its design, for the same reason flagged at the hero image above — the text below it correctly says €1,500.

Entering the Safegram Italy City Break Challenge is simple:

    • Download Safegram
    • Post a selfie with your bestie
    • Tag them in your Safegram post before the closing date

Update: the challenge is currently on hold until the Safegram app officially launches. At that point, the closing date, draw date and trip dates will be published on safegram.com/italy. Anyone who has already entered does not need to do anything — all valid entries already received carry over automatically to the new draw.

The main prize is worth up to €1,500 towards an Italy city break for two, once the draw goes ahead.

There is also an optional €500 winner bonus. If the selected winner also shares their Safegram selfie on Instagram Story or TikTok, tags @safegram_app, and can prove it, they unlock an extra €500 spending money. This optional bonus does not increase the chance of winning.

A launch campaign with a bigger mission

The Italy Challenge is a fun way to bring people into Safegram, but the long-term vision is much bigger.

Safegram wants to become a trusted Irish-built platform where people can connect, message, sell, buy, promote, create and build communities with more confidence.

For Irish users, the idea is simple: a social platform should feel safer, more human and more respectful.

Safegram is positioning itself as a place where users are not treated like the product, sellers can build trust, creators can grow, families can feel better protected, and local communities can connect with less noise.

    Join Safegram early

Safegram is inviting early users in Ireland to download the app, try the platform, enter the Italy Challenge and give honest feedback.

The platform is still growing, and early users can help shape the future of Safegram from the beginning.

    Important terms

Free entry. Open to Republic of Ireland residents aged 18+. One entry per person. The main prize is worth up to €1,500 towards an Italy city break for two. The challenge is currently on hold until the Safegram app launches — the closing date, draw date and trip dates will be published on safegram.com/italy once confirmed. All valid entries already received carry over automatically to the new draw.

The extra €500 cash bonus only applies if the selected winner completed and can prove the optional Instagram Story or TikTok share. This does not increase the chance of winning.

Safegram and the Italy City Break Challenge are not associated with Croke Park, GAA, Leinster Rugby, URC, Instagram, TikTok or Meta.
